Prague hotel U Sv. Jana is a hotel of garni category and provides an unusual opportunity of romantic accommodation with mystic atmosphere in the building originally used as a vicarage of the Church of St. John on the Rock. The building was built by architect A. Wiehl in neobaroque style in 1902 and is situated below the church.

The hotel was opened on the first of August 2003 after a sensitive reconstruction and offers accommodation in 14 rooms with a total capacity of 45 beds. Each room is equipped with ensuite bathroom, satelite TV and direct-dial telephone. The reception desk is open 24 hours and our guests can take advantage of hotel safe or fax machine and internet access. There is a possibility of borrowing iron and ironing board,even an umbrella as well. The reception provides information about cultural events, city tours and sells tickets for such.

Hotel is located near the Faust House, in the walking distance of the historical centre of Prague, 5 minutes walking from the Charles Square (Karlovo namesti).

The tram stop is situated just 30 m and metro stop Karlovo Namesti 300 m from the pension but you can also just walk.

Just thought I would drop you a quick line to say what a very well organised holiday we had, thank you. Everyone turned up on time (taxi, guided tour etc); the hotel was great and very reasonably priced. In fact we enjoyed it so much we will come back to Prague in a couple of years and we will not hesitate to book through you again. I shall also recommend you to my friends!
